Oasis Hotel forms part of Hostelería Garmi S.A., a family business with a future. From 1956, when founder and current president Tomás Gargallo undertook his first hotel and catering trade project. Very good standard for a officially 2 star hotel, well preserved with ongoing refurbishing. Family-run business hotel with friendly service. Excellent location and laidback ambient are its higher points. Preferably for low budget individuals travelers.
** The hotel has been undergoing works since 2007 on all parts of the hotel in stages, these works are due for completion in January 2010. |

Oasis Hotel enjoys the great privilege of being located in the tourist centre of Barcelona, beside Port Vell, the Gothic Quarter, the Picasso Museum and the Borne Quarter, centre of art, design and restoration vanguards in Barcelona, with its famous shops and endless restaurants. There is an underground station 50 m. from the hotel and several bus lines, among them, the Bus Turístic, with which you will be able to move to any point of the city. |

Located on the first floor, it is the place where hotel guests can have breakfast. The self-service includes: coffee, milk, infusions, bread, croissants, orange juice, cereals, marmalade, butter, cold meat, cheese, eggs, fruit and yoghurt.

Located on the ground floor of the hotel, in a comfortable, quiet space with a modernist design, the restaurant offers a daily menu at midday and at night, to choose between several dishes. Open from 13:00 h. to 16:00 h. and from 20:00 h. to 22:00 h.
* Cafeteria:
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, it is a nice meeting point where you can taste a great variety of tapas, drink good sangría or taste coffee. Snacks and combined dishes.

Excellent in all respects: price, location, cleanness, furnishing (I stayed in the renewed part), helpful staff. Hightly recommend it to people not spoiled with 5***** amenities :)
Despite mix reviews that we have read on Oasis hotel, we decided to take a chance. The location of the hotel could not be better – it’s just 10 min walk from Barcelona city centre, just 5-10 mins walk from the train station, 10 min to La Ramblas, beach and...
I found the Hotel Oasis a fantastic two stars Hotel. The room was very nice and very clean. The situation of the hotel is unbeatable, between the beach and the gothic neighborhood. The staff was very pleasant. I will return next year.
